Tokenomics

With the end of the BANG! Defense x HashKings partnership, a whole new ecosystem will need to be built to replace the HK one. This part of the transition will likely take the longest. Tokenomics are not something that can be rushed, and we will need time and resources to do this.

While a new ecosystem is being developed for BANG! Defense, players will still be able to earn and spend BUDS. Slowly, the BUDS reward pool will be reduced as it's replaced with new pools. The plan is to introduce 2 new separate token pools. One will be for the BANG! Defense utility token (TBA), and the other will be for misc. Hive Engine tokens. Additionally, you will still be able to earn NFT rewards by playing BANG! Defense. In the future, new types of reward NFTs will be introduced.

Utility Token

A new utility token will be introduced to BANG! Defense. While the details for this token are still being determined, a few things are certain:

• The token can be traded on the Hive Engine

• The token can be earned by playing BANG! Defense

• The token will provide a variety of functionality within the BANG! Defense ecosystem

Understanding exactly how the utility token will be used will ensure a healthy ecosystem. These functionalities will also act as a deflation mechanism for the token. More information regarding this utility token will be released in the future. Feel free to share your ideas in the Discord.

NFTs

It is still very important to both BANG! Defense and HashKings reward those of you who purchased NFTs. All NFTs that you have purchased in the Beta will still be supported in BANG! Defense. Additionally, the HashKings team is planning the development of new game that will support existing BANG! Defense NFTs. Of course, we will still continue to find more ways to add utility to BANG! Defense NFTs as we move forward.
